Paul Munroe

Professor Paul Munroe is the Director of the Electron Microscope Unit at the University of New South Wales (UNSW). He obtained a B.Sc and Ph.D in Metallurgy and Materials from the University of Birmingham. He then took up a post-doctoral position at Dartmouth College, before moving to UNSW in 1990. He has a strong research interest in structure-property relationships in advanced materials, including coated and surface treated materials. He has published over 160 journal papers. He is the Technical Director of the Australian Microscopy and Microanalysis Research Facility.
