Finally, in recognizing the need to reduce the "Ecological Footprint" of engineering operations, the committee are seeking papers dealing with Education and Sustainable practices aimed at zero waste.

A feature of this conference will be the use of workshops covering themes where Knowledge Intensity is impacting on industrial and economic growth in the Far East and South East Asian regions. The workshops will be led by Keynote Presenters and supported by all attendees through discussion.
