Materials Australia is published six times per year and provides technical articles, product and industry news, an events diary and reports on meetings and conferences held around Australia. Members receive a copy as a membership benefit. Others may subscribe.
Materials Forum is published once per year in September. It is a series of invited, refereed articles on aspects of materials and their science and engineering. The articles are intended to bring a technically literate person up to speed in the particular area of the article.
The Engineering Materials Handbook is in its 5th Edition and its 20 sections as useful as ever. Each section includes an overview of the particular materials, eg tool steels, extracts from relevant Australian standards and a section from suppliers providing their equivalents for the standard materials.
