The state branches of Materials Australia play an important role in building local collaborative relationships that enable individual members and member businesses to grow, create jobs and operate sustainably. They provide a mechanism through which Australia's materials science and engineering industry can come together, grow and learn about the ever-changing commercial, technical and regulatory environments. All of the Materials Australia branches hold a quarterly meeting.
Each of our branches enjoys excellent support from the local materials science and engineering industry, and aims to inform and engage members by providing a setting for both professional development and industry networking.
A variety of seminars, conferences and branch events address local issues and challenges facing materials engineering professionals are regularly offered. In addition, each of our branches provides valuable input into our quarterly magazine, and also communicates local industry news and information through regular emails and newsletters to members.
