Many of the challenges we face as a society can only be solved by pursuing a transdisciplinary approach to science. IPAS has been created to bring together experimental physicists, chemists, material scientists/engineers, biologists, experimentally driven theoretical scientists and medical researchers to create new sensing and measurement technologies. 

Come join us for a presentation and tour of the facility with a demonstration of a fibre draw and a demonstration of a fibre sensor experiment. It is expected that the visit will last about 1½ hours.
Afterwards, those interested, can join, at own expense, the committee for a bite to eat at Brunelli’s Café, 187 Rundle Street.
