In addition she has made extensive contributions to oxide composites design, microstructure characterization by electron microscopy techniques and phase equilibria. The Kriven group has developed a new technique for in situ, hot stage (up to 2000°C) synchrotron studies of ceramics in air, including an image plate detector capable of taking a high resolution, diffractometry spectrum within one minute. She has written o... ![]() Giuseppe PezzottiGiuseppe Pezzotti graduated cum laude from Rome University, La Sapienza, and received his Doctoral Degree from Osaka University. He subsequently worked as a researcher at Osaka University, Tohoku University and Toyohashi University of Technology, before becoming an associate professor at Kyoto Institute of Technology where he covers since the year 2000 a full professor tenure position at the Ceramic Physics Laboratory. Since the year 2002, Professor Pezzotti is also the Director of the Research Institute for Nanoscience, RIN, in Kyoto and since the year 2005, he has been appointed Adjunct...
