The Institute of Materials Engineering Australasia, more commonly known as Materials Australia, provides support to all materials engineering, manufacturing and research industries.
Materials engineering is one of the broadest engineering disciplines, playing a part across all industrial sectors, including mining, oil and gas, chemical, pharmaceutical, transport, automotive, food and beverage, architectural, aeronautical, water treatment, marine and medical. Major facets of materials engineering include materials selection, corrosion resistance and protection, welding and fabrication.
With branches in Adelaide, Brisbane, Canberra, Melbourne, Perth and Sydney, Materials Australia offers seminars, training, conferences, and a wide range of technical information.
